Mass & Parallel Dialing
Traditional call centers use human agents who can only handle one call at a time. Caller AI changes the math of sales by offering Parallel Dialingβthe ability to deploy hundreds of AI agents simultaneously to call through massive lists in minutes.
Understanding Concurrency
Concurrency refers to the number of active calls happening at the exact same moment. In your Campaign Settings, you can define the "Max Concurrent Calls."
Human Agent: 100 calls/day β Takes 50 days.
AI (10 Concurrency): 10 simultaneous calls β Takes ~5 hours.
AI (100 Concurrency): 100 simultaneous calls β Takes ~30 minutes.
Number Pools & Rotation
When mass dialing, you cannot use a single phone number. Making 10,000 calls a day from one number will result in carriers labeling your number as "Spam Likely" within hours.
The Solution: Number Pools
A Number Pool is a group of phone numbers (e.g., 20 different local numbers) assigned to a single campaign. Caller AI automatically rotates through these numbers.
- Load Balancing: If you make 1,000 calls, each number in a 20-number pool only makes 50 calls.
- Local Presence: You can configure pools to match the area code of the lead (e.g., calling a California lead with a California number).
- Spam Mitigation: Spreading traffic lowers the heat on any single Caller ID.
Dialing Velocity (Calls Per Minute)
You can control the pacing of your campaign to ensure you don't overwhelm your downstream systems (like your CRM or human closers).
Fast Pace: 50+ concurrent calls. Best for simple notifications, surveys, or when the AI is handling the entire booking process without human intervention.
Best Practices for High Volume
- Warm Up Numbers: Don't buy a new number and dial 500 times on Day 1. Start with 50 calls/day and ramp up over a week.
- Monitor ASR (Answer-Seizure Ratio): If your connection rate drops below 10%, your numbers are likely flagged as spam. Swap them out immediately.
- Use Verified Business Profiles: Register your numbers for A2P 10DLC and CNAM (Caller ID Name) to increase trust.
