Creating & Managing Campaigns
This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of launching your first outbound AI campaign. Before starting, ensure you have created an Assistant and uploaded a Contact List.
Step-by-Step Configuration
- Initial Setup Go to the Campaigns tab and click "New Campaign." Give your campaign a descriptive name (e.g., "Oct 2025 Webinar Invite") and select the Assistant you want to use.
- Select Audience Choose the Contact List you previously uploaded. You can also filter specific segments (e.g., "Only leads in NY").
- Choose Phone Numbers Select the outbound Caller ID. You can choose a single number or a "Number Pool." Using a pool is recommended for large lists to prevent carrier flagging (Spam Likely).
- Set Schedule Define the "Calling Window." For example, set the campaign to run only between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST on weekdays. Calls will automatically pause outside these hours.
Retry Logic (Smart Redialing)
Most leads do not answer on the first attempt. You can configure Caller AI to automatically retry leads who didn't pick up.
Time Between Attempts: 4 hours
Stop Condition: "When Call Connects" (Stops calling once the person answers).
Managing Active Campaigns
Once you click "Start," the campaign enters the Running state. You can monitor progress in real-time.
Pausing and Resuming
You can hit the "Pause" button at any time. This will stop the dialer immediately after the current active calls are finished. Resuming will pick up exactly where it left off.
Editing a Running Campaign
If you realize your System Prompt needs a tweak mid-campaign:
1. Pause the campaign.
2. Go to your Assistant settings and edit the prompt.
3. Resume the campaign. The new calls will use the updated prompt.
Duplicating Campaigns
For A/B testing, use the Duplicate feature. You can clone an existing campaign, change the Assistant (e.g., test a male voice vs. a female voice), and run them against similar lists to see which performs better.
